The DEWALT DW033XJ is an accurate distance measurement device that can simplify the task of measuring and surveying the range. It uses laser light to measure the distance between itself and the target. The device is equipped with a bright easy to read LED display for the convenience of reading the measurements. It delivers accurate measurements. The DW033XJ has an operating range of 30 meters.


One Button Operation

The in-built single button on this device allows users to measure the distance within seconds. It also facilitates single-hand usage. The button can be used to hold measurements.


Bright LED Display

The backlit LED screen displays clear and well-defined readings. It makes it easy to perceive the measurement in all conditions by keeping the screen illuminated. It even displays the battery percentage.


TPE Over Mold

For added durability and firm grip over this device, it is provided with a TPE over-mold. This makes it more ergonomic for hand-held usage and acts as a protective shock-proof casing.


Range and Accuracy

This measuring tool has a range of 30 meters, with a measuring accuracy of 3 mm. It features a simple user interface for one-handed operation. It is a perfect tool for all range, length, distance, height, and width measurements.

Working Principle

It emits a powerful LASER beam at a push of the button. The beam bounces off the target or distant object within its range. The in-built programming measures the total time taken by the beam to hit the target and bounce back. By utilizing the time measurement it calculates the total distance traveled and displays it on the screen.

Power

This tool is battery operated and uses 2 X AA Batteries.


Electrical and Plumbing

Utilize this tool to measure the distance for the linear length of wires or cable runs. You can also measure the depth and distance of the wire available at hand. Alternatively, it can be used to measure the length of piping runs and pump lines or even the lines for installation and repairs.


Concrete and Masonry

You can use this versatile and fully functional tool as a perfect replacement for measuring tapes in construction works. It can be quite helpful in measuring the vertical or horizontal surface dimensions, window dimensions, exterior wall length/widths, ceiling heights and more.


Renovation and Re-Designing

The warranty does not apply where repairs have been attempted by unauthorised persons.

Issues not covered by the warranty include :
  • Extreme impacts or drops
  • Ingestion of foreign objects (i.e. Nails, screws ... etc)
  • Using tool for non-intended application
  • Any modification to the tool
  • Prolonged exposure to the extreme weather conditions
  • Wrong voltage
  • Using incorrect accessories or attachments
  • Lack of recommended service (especially hammers)
  • Use of incorrect grease
  • Not repaired with DEWALT® genuine parts.
