The compact and lightweight BL4040F battery can be used on very powerful machines where a BL4050F would normally be necessary. The cells are designed so that the battery does not overheat even under very high loads and can therefore be charged immediately in most applications without a cooling phase. Particularly recommended for professional and tough applications with angle grinders, chainsaws, garden tools, reciprocating saws and hand-held circular saws.

The high-performance cells with low internal resistance of dimension 21700 enable extremely high peak currents that are on a par with a BL4050F. Compared to a BL4040, the BL4040F can also deliver up to 35% more continuous power . With powerful machines, this can lead to higher work performance and/or running time.
