Highlights

The YATO YT-2340 pneumatic paint sprayer is used for quick and uniform application of paints and varnishes (drying oil, varnish, paint, primer, gloss, glaze, enamel) on surfaces made of plastic, metal, wood, and ceramics. Used in construction, furniture industry, automotive service. The spray gun operates using compressed air. The varnish in the tank and the compressed air entering the spray gun form a mixture of varnish particles and air at the outlet of the gun nozzle.

The spray gun is used to perform painting works. Compressed air is a factor necessary for the proper operation of the gun. The paint from the gun tank and the compressed air supplied to the gun create a mixture of paint and air particles at the gun nozzle outlet.

  • Type - HVLP (high volume, low pressure).
  • Top tank.
  • Saving up to 30% varnish.
  • Comprehensive air flow regulation.
  • Adjustment of spray flow position.
  • Made from high quality materials.

Instructions For Use :

Getting started
Using an open-end wrench, tighten the nozzle. Check the tightness and reliability of the connections of the compressed air supply system. Blow out the supply hose with air before connecting it to the installation. Before using the gun, make sure it has been properly cleaned and maintained. Make sure that the tank with the coating material is connected in a way that ensures proper tightness.

Adjusting the width of the spray jet
The width and shape of the spray jet can be changed by rotating the air nozzle. The shape of the stream can be smoothly adjusted from flat to round depending on your needs. The coating material quantity adjustment knob determines the amount of coating material supplied to the air stream. The spray adjustment knob sets the intensity of the mixture of coating material and air. It is recommended to adjust the mixture stream to obtain the smallest possible particles of the coating material, this will ensure better distribution of the coating material on the surface.

Working with the gun
When using the gun, maintain a distance of 10 to 15 cm between the gun outlet and the surface to be covered. Try to run the gun outlet perpendicular to the surface to be covered. Avoid arc movements, they will cause uneven distribution of the coating material. It is recommended to apply several thin layers rather than one thick one.

Air flow adjustment
Depending on the type of coating material, select the amount of compressed air by adjusting the air pressure adjustment knob.

Replacing the Nozzle
Make sure the entire nozzle assembly is replaced. The set includes a coating material nozzle, a needle and an air nozzle.

Needle seal
During operation, check the tightness of the needle seal. If significant wear occurs, the seal should be replaced during periodic gun inspection, using an open-end wrench to dismantle the seal assembly.

Cleaning and maintenance
After finishing work, disconnect the gun from the compressed air system and empty the tool's tank of the remaining coating material. Thoroughly clean the tank of any remaining coating material. Carefully clean the entire coating material transfer path. Inadequate cleaning will reduce the parameters of the coating material stream. Clean the air nozzle with a brush dipped in solvent. Never immerse the entire gun in solvent. Never clean clogged holes using hard objects because even slight internal damage may adversely affect the spray jet parameters. After washing the gun, apply a small amount of lubricant to the moving parts of the seals. Tighten the coating material nozzle just enough to avoid leaks and ensure smooth movement of the needle.
