Why is the no-load speed different from the rated speed?	The tool does not feature speed control, so under load the speed will drop to about 450 rpm (no-load speed is 820 rpm and needs to be printed on the type label)
Can it be used for tapping?	The GBM38 cannot be used for tapping, since it does not feature reverse. It is only for core cutting and drilling!
How does the overload protection work?	The GBM38 features two things: A thermal overload protection, which switches the tool off, when the load is way to high (e. g. excessive drilling force over longer time). The button can be pressed in again, after the tool did cool down. Second: A (melting) fuse for short term high currents of the tool. This needs to be replaced afterward (one additional fuse in SOS).
Will it have impact with user wearing pacemaker?	Yes, it is not recommended to work with any magnetic drill when wearing a pacemaker! This is nothing specific to the GBM38, but to all magnetic core drills, since they generate a huge magnetic field to hold the tool to the workpiece firmly and safely.
